After the Fire: Help Analog Dope & Raw Remedies Rebuild

Thursday, August 27, 2026 -Two of Las Vegas’ greatest hubs for the Black, LGBTQIA+, & Creative Community went up in flames on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Analog Dope, owned by Rachelle & Charlie Luster, featured literature and music of Black authors & artists. While the inside was super cozy and welcoming, community events, book signings, and workshops were held on the front patio. Raw Remedies, owned by Bobbie Mullins for 17 years, was a natural hair salon and was once the home of Soul Sessions, one of the most notable open mics in the city. Every month for almost 7 years folks would gather to hear high level talent from poets & musicians. Through these gatherings, Analog Dope & Raw Remedies became deeply ingrained the community and a third space for many.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue is investigating the cause of the fire, but it’s said that it started from an old electrical pole that had been called in a few times (to NV Energy).

Since the fire, there has been an immense pouring of support from the Las Vegas community and beyond. Folks are welcome to donate directly to Analog Dope through their square space link, and a GoFundMe has been set up to help recovery efforts for Raw Remedies.
