Fifth Sun Project, Pigeon Hat Collective, and Vegas Street Medic Collective present a two-part community response workshop series that includes two different aspects of harm reduction: a de-escalation and mental health workshop (9/18) & an overdose prevention/Narcan administration training (9/19) •———• Overdose Prevention & Narcan Administration Training (9/19) Narcan, aka naloxone is a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and potentially save a life With the rapidly increasing presence of fent*nyl in varying substances globally, awareness in how to identify and respond to an overdose is a good measure to reduce harm and stigma in our communities These educational workshops are free to attend and include virtual attendance options.
