Travel back in time as we explore 400 years of the Filipino-American story. This dinner serves as a culinary mapping of our ancestors' migration, from the 1587 landing in Morro Bay to the first Asian American settlement in the bayous of Saint Malo.
Isang Kusina, meaning "One Kitchen," unites a cohort of leading Filipino chefs to represent several regions where our history first began. This isn't just a timeline of where we landed; it is a historical tribute to the cultural impact we have mapped across the American landscape.
