On Sunday, July 28th, There's Nothing to do in Vegas / Vegas Hip-Hopx organized an ALL CREW SHOW. What was special about this event? The lineup showcased artists who were all part of groups with 2 or more members. The idea for the show was sparked when The College of Hip-Hop Knowledge, a group of 6 emcees and a DJ, who were on tour from Austin, TX, hit up *CoCojenkins to help them book a Vegas show.

The lineup included DOTWAV, a collective from Vegas consisting of Asians & Hawaiians, who gave us a preview of the energy they were about to bring as the first AAPI group to perform at legendary west coast underground show, Rhyme Fest. The headlining acts of the night were the talented female artists Uhmeesa Fuego, known for her powerful vocal delivery, and *CoCojenkins, who created live beats while hyping up Uhmeesa as MOON-Ra. Instead of a traditional DJ, the event featured Geronamo, who created and built his beats on the Akai MPC Live.

This evening featured classic hip-hop house show, backyard boogie type vibes, held at the unique venue known as "CoCo's Crib" in Downtown Las Vegas. Graffiti art, palm trees, and even chickens set the tone as the air filled with real rap performances, and even a 45 minute freestyle session over *CoCojenkins' beats afterwards. Check back frequently to find more things to do in the Las Vegas Hip-Hop scene.
