FIND NEVADA FARMERS MARKETS IN THE LAS VEGAS AREA, DAILY, ON NTDLV.COM!
Remember when Jack got those magic beans that grew high in the sky? Only to lead him to the home of a great, hungry giant? It’s a shame when something gets our hopes so high, only to find a bigger
problem awaiting us on the other side. Well that won’t happen at Farmers' Markets. Unlike the storied
myths of past remedies and the promises of Ozempic, Farmer’s Markets come with only upsides –
guaranteed.
What’s that? The schedule is always changing? For some, yes! The food goes where the people are,
honey. Your participation makes it stay. Trust me, instead of yelling into the void, proclaim to the market
managers that you can’t live without that same smoked jerky and hummus every week. Unlike the void,
they’ll yell back.

Oh? You say it’s too hot to go? Well, producers happen to agree with you. That’s why folks at Intuitive Forager have planned some indoor markets in Downtown Vegas to soak in that sweet AC and in the shade like in Downtown Summerlin. But you may be forgetting that Clark County, unlike its neighbors,
has 12 months of farmers markets where small business owners and local producers hand out free
samples. TWELVE MONTHS of produce and honey and tea and coffee and snacks and gifts. We
desert dwellers laugh in the face of seasonal schedules.
You think Vegas is drowning in the dregs of late-stage capitalism? It is! A trip to the farmer’s market is a sure fire way to stick it to the corporate ghouls that syphon your money away to offshore accounts. We want to syphon our own money! Into roads and schools and hospitals and vice! Our local producers are
five-feet under growing you fresh fruits and vegetables. You could give them the juicy, green beans that
keep their farms and kitchens alive. Come to a farmers market to support a local small business. Small
businesses shall overcome! Whether you’re blue because the president you elected is not making you
very happy, or you’re red from picketing against ICE under the hot sun – farmer’s markets will welcome
you warmly into their muscular, blue collar embrace.
Just not sure what the point really is? Farmers markets are. They always have been. Touch grass. Sow
seed. Buy local. And you, my dear, sweet consumer, are the rich, wet fertilizer that makes those greens
grow. Rejoice in the communal tradition of trade. Go not quietly into that transaction, rebel against the inflated prices of faceless grocery stores! Proudly swipe your SNAP/EBT card and claim your right to fresh fruits and vegetables! Squeeze yourself into newsfeeds! Appeal to the audiences of cottage-core content! Grab your flax linen tote bag and show your followers what seductive beets you selected this weekend with #NevadaFarmersMarkets.
Impress your date with culture and mystere: take them through the bustling roads of downtown,
Henderson, or Summerlin almost any morning of the week. Dinner on the strip, breakfast from the
market. There’s no better plan to get some Vitamin D.

End the oppression of fast food heartburn and slip that Nevada-raised beef into your weekend meal
prep. We see you and your balanced macros. We sell you those balanced macros.
Visit the farmers markets for no other reason than to feel better than everybody else. You and the homies community vibing to local musicians. Your money bought fresh food. Your money supports small businesses. Your money is keeping the air clean. Hop on that high horse and proclaim that, “yes, the view is, indeed, great from up here”.
The only magic from beans is in keeping you regular. Regular support from you keeps the beans here
in our neck of the woods. The giant we need fight is the one selling rotten goods in 100,000 square foot
warehouses. Take a walk on the farmer’s side, take a walk to the market next time.
