If you haven't heard by now, There's Nothing to do in Vegas hosts one of the dopest events that The City has ever seen. Underground Coloring Club. It’s a low pressure space where people come together to slow down, tap into creativity, and just exist for a second. We do three things - we color, we smoke weed (optional of course), and we listen to good music.
We launched Underground Coloring Club a year ago, and it's been so joyous to watch it grow. Since December, every single event since has hit our 40 ticket capacity, and in January we brought on sponsors STIIIZY & Cheba Hut. When April 20th landed on a Monday, we took that as our moment to go bigger.
The 4/20 edition ran from 3–9pm, and it was Underground Coloring Club on steroids. We had sponsors come through heavy—THC Design, Rythm, Up Leaf as our tobacco sponsor, and Vlasic blessing attendees with free massages using their CBD cream. People also received 2 empanadas with their ticket thanks to Latin Flava.
Music at Underground Coloring Club is carefully curated by *CoCojenkins, and she picked some amazing DJs to play the UCC vibe. Selecta Prophet, DJ Mahay, and SC-One (New York) spun dope music plus RED stepped in with live raps. Emma's brother Sampson demonstrated live glass blowing throughout the evening, providing a beautiful and unique perspective for people see. The standout performance was from Spinnin Shae, who gave us a super sexy, unexpected show that shifted the energy in the best way. It was truly a 4/20 to remember.
